Donna C. Kester Phillips, Ph.D. has studied mindfulness and mindful movement and has integrated these tools into her teacher preparation classes. She established M.E. in School (Mindfulness Education in School) and founded and is the Director of the Center for Mindful Practice at Niagara University, both organizations encouraging and teaching mindfulness in schools and other institutions. She hosts Mindfulness Conversations, a yearly fall event at Niagara University for teachers, counselors, administrators and staff members. She teaches QiGong at the Be Embodied wellness and counseling center and is a certified Yoga Teacher.
