Beginner & Level 1 Iyengar Yoga with Linda Cochran

A beginner or fairly new to yoga this is a good introductory class for you. You will get to build up your understanding of the poses in a steady and systematic manner and in a slow-paced environment. Iyengar yoga introduces more static holds of poses that builds up intelligence and body awareness. Chest openings and restorative poses will also be incorporated into these sessions therefore have a mat, 2 yoga blocks, 1 or 2 firm blankets and a light-weight chair.

Linda Cochran
Linda has practiced yoga on and off for decades, but fell in love with Iyengar yoga 12 years ago. She is now a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, CIYT, and a RYT 500 with the Yoga Alliance. Linda studied continuously for 6 years under the mentorship of senior teachers at Studio Yoga Madison in NJ.
