This class incorporates the fluidity and synchronicity of movement and breath as in vinyasa with the opportunity to truly rest and allow the body to recover. Typically we start with breathwork to allow you to root down and center yourself and find a sense of calm before moving into a flow. This is accomplished by harnessing the power of your parasympathetic nervous system. Once we establish the breath, we'll shift into a moving meditation. Gently warming up the body, paying special attention to the wrists, shoulders, hips and low back. Class will conclude with various restorative pose options to promote healing and assist your immune system in defending your body.
